Anyone can TRI, DU SERIES

The Scene

Why this race, venue?  CLOSED COURSE!!!  No vehicles to worry about on the bike course.

Holly Recreation Area provides a plethora of both rustic and modern camping sites as well as hiking, fishing and other family activities.

The course we have developed over 10 years now features a time trial swim start, straight out and back rectangle course. An entirely closed challenging bike course, rolling to hilly the entire route.  It is a 3 mile straight to the back of the park, so you will complete 1  or 2 loops. The new Gravel course will take you around the recreation area on gravel roads with few homes which is a rolling course as well.

The run course is one of our top 3 favorite courses, cut specifically 6 years ago just for this event which will take you on a half  trail run, half pavement course.

Another great venue to bring the family for a nice picnic following the event.

This section will inform athletes of the COVID 19 guidelines that must be followed in order to participate and while participating.  Some information is general in that it applies to all events.  Then each event will have its specific information due to venue restrictions and differences.

Tri-1-Logo-Final-01 Event Our exclusive TRI - One program was launched many years ago when athletes raced as part of their training, rewarded themselves for all the training they were doing and to gain all that important race day experience you cannot simulate.  As the multi-sport community has evolved to the opposite now we are bringing back the program.  it is really simple, you need more open water swim training? great, cmon out and get it with our lifeguards and courses.  Want to get a nice hard time trial on the bike in?  cmon out and race on our course.  Need to get a run in and want to do so with aid stations?  cmon out and join other runners.

Each TRI - One will have a designated start time, you will simply head to the TRI - One start flag for the discipline you choose, line up, and when the clock strikes and the horn sounds you are off.  With our events, time trial swim starts now you will line up accordingly.  Or if you want to take the Kayak or SUP out for a nice paddle with others where offered.

The cost for these is a flat $25.  For that, you get a finisher's medal and access to the post-race food tent.  You may purchase a shirt for $10.
